I didn't realize that Las Vegas had a Zippy's. In fact they have 3 Zippy's and they want to expand it to 30 more Zippy's. The nearest Zippy's were about 30 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.
It has all the feels of a Zippy's, I mean pretty much it is the same as Hawaii everything from the decor to the food to the customer service. It is the exact same and I don't doubt that the employees are all from Hawaii since they have the pidgin accent.
First of all the prices were expensive. Quincy was saying that they have to ship everything and in the future to lower cost they need to build some type of kitchen where they can cook the food there and distribute it to the other Zippy's. All in due time I guess.
I bought the Chili and Chicken Mix plate. It taste just like Hawaii. On the second day we went to Zippy's I ordered the wun tun min. It was exactly like Hawaii.
I think overall, we enjoyed our meals at Zippy's and it reminded us of our time in Hawaii. For me it brought me back to childhood. I remember my first Zippy's fried chicken was when I was 5 years old. That bite of the fried chicken brought me back to my grandmother's house when I first ate the chicken. It was in a small plastic bag and I remember the crispy skin.
